MUSICAL GROUPS featured on WDXB
Mazziah Mountain:
A family band with a traditional American sound. The preeminent feature of Mazziah Mountain's lyrical style is their focus on faith, American values and the heroes that championed them as well as a deep and touching telling of the lives of the people of the South during the War for Southern Independence.
The Carteret Grays:
A period reenactment group from North
Carolina whose instrumental selections are a favourite at reenactments, living history presentations, and

Rick Revel:
is a country music songwriter and recording artist who is a true son of the South. He regularly participates in reenactments of the War but also performs musical and spoken living history presentations as such famous Southerners as George Washington, Davy Crockett, and others. His music and performances are available through his website out of Paris, Tennessee; and he is available for engagements, as well.
The
Rebelaires:
The Rebelaires give you Southern
heritage music that will move you with its conviction and soul-stirring
intensity! Never has any music burned with such dedication for a
cause since the folk songs of the early 1960's, a pivotal decade
that molded the musical tastes of each member of the Rebelaires
Free South:
The new CD release "Free South." It contains 12 pro Dixie songs with Southern Heritage themes. I was told that no one here in the music industry had the nerve to produce music like this because everybody was trying to be so politically correct so I say, "Kiss my grits and listen to this!" MP3 Samples and More may be found at the website!

Linda Carlton:
The purpose behind the music I do is to spread truth about Confederate history. If your listeners research the topics and people represented in the songs, they will find them historically documented but not necessarily politically correct. I hope my music speaks to listeners from the viewpoint of the people who lived through those terrible times. Generic battle songs don't do the War Between The States justice.

2nd
South Carolina String Band:
The purpose
of the 2nd South Carolina String Band is to recreate (as authentically
as possible) the music of the Civil War. In the "Southern Soldier"
album the listener will hear the music of the 19th century played
on 19th century period instruments in the appropriate style. This
is the music as it truly sounded to the soldiers of the Civil War.
Carl
Peterson:
These are the words of the Southern Heritage
Conference in Laurel, MS -- "Carl Peterson elevated the 7th
Annual Southern Heritage Conference to a new level with the addition
of the Confederate Ceilidh. For the many Southerners of Scots descent,
Peterson pulled together the Southern/Celtic connection with his
music in a special way. His blending of traditional Scottish songs
using 19th Century Southern words, that appear on his albums, Songs
of the South, Bagpipes and Banjos and Scotland Remembers the Alamo
brought clearer meaning to the Southern/Celtic connection."
Bobby
Mountain:
A Georgia native who has provided two outstanding
singles played relentlessly here at DixieBroadcasting, "Dixie
Died in Georgia" about Gov. Roy Barnes betrayal to our state
flag; and "Bushwacked," which tells important truths about
the Bush family and their goals for America.
